Arcitc migration

A flock of Snow Buntings heading for their breeding grounds in Greenland and Spitsbergen. In March and April millions of Snow Buntings stop to feed in Northern Norway. The birds almost double their weight before they start the impressing migration over the sea. The males arrive before the females and this picture from March shows mostly adult males.
